Sarah Fairley is the Director of Admissions for Academy Programs. She also currently oversees the training process at Academy Programs. Sarah has been with Academy Programs since 2009 and has been working with at-risk children and families since 2005. She is a Ravenswood native and a graduate of Glenville State College where she earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Education and played Volleyball. Sarah resides in Fairmont. She has one daughter, Sadie.
Terry Collins Terry Collins
Director of Operations
Teacher-Counselor

Terry has more than 15 years experience in youth residential programming and is a Teacher-Counselor at his core. He worked as a Program Supervisor and Coordinator of Residential Services while also spending seven years in the training and staff development realm. Terry earned a Bachelor's degree from Glenville State College in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Terry later earned a Master's degree in Social Work from West Virginia University. Terry is a native of Webster Springs and currently resides in Shinnston with his wife and children. Among Terry's hobbies are hunting, fishing, camping and golf. Terry is eagerly awaiting for snow to fall in July because that is when his beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish will win their next national title.
Christine Myers Christine Myers
Director of Finance
Teacher-Counselor

Chris is the Academy Director of Finance and is one of the original employees of the company. Chris is a native of Saratoga, New York and has experience in divergent areas such as food service, bookkeeping, human resources and billing in the human service field. Chris graduated from Fairmont State University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Patrick Varah Patrick Varah
Director of Public Relations
Teacher-Counselor

Pat is the Director of Public Relations at the Academy. He has been with the Academy since 2004. Pat graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Shepherd College and with a Master's degree from Marshall University in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. Pat resided for five years in the Outer Banks of North Carolina where he served as the Projects Director at Outer Banks Hotline in Manteo. Pat resides with his family in Lewis County. Pat is a graduate of Grafton High School. Among Pat's hobbies are running, reading, incessantly eating chocolate, telling unfunny jokes and watching his Washington Redskins humiliate themselves and their fan base each Sunday during autumn.
Kathryn Carpenter Kathryn "Kak" Carpenter
Director of Quality Assurance
Teacher-Counselor

Kak is a Lewis County native and still resides there with her husband not far from Jackson's Mill. She has been employed with Academy Programs since 2008 and has worked in the children's services field since 1992 in a variety of roles including Fiscal Coordinator, Quality Assurance Assistant, Quality Improvement Technician and Performance Improvement Coordinator. She is active in her church, loves to travel and is a die-hard Steelers fan. Kak is the proud parent of one son, Elijah.
Amanda Iquinto Amanda Iquinto
Deputy Director of Operations

Amanda Iquinto is the Deputy Director of Operations. She was born and raised in Fairmont. She earned Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Fairmont State University.

She has been a Teacher/Counselor, Team Leader, Program Director and is now the Deputy Director of Operations at Academy Programs

She was named Academy Programs Teacher/Counselor of the Year in 2017. Amanda enjoys football and is a fan of WVU and the Denver Broncos. She also enjoys her dogs, hiking, kayaking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Amanda is passionate about serving at-risk youth and training and developing staff.
Jennifer Willett Jennifer Willett
Director of Treatment

Jennifer has been with Academy Programs since 2002 and has held a variety of positions, including Teacher/Counselor, Program Supervisor, School Liaison, Program Director and Therapist.

She is a native of Doddridge County and a graduate of West Virginia University earning a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Masters of Social Work.

Jen resides in Fairmont with her husband and 4 children. Among her interests and hobbies are basketball, involvement with church, and watching her children in wrestling, jiu-jitsu, tumbling, and soccer.
